SOS was founded in 2001 by Lucy Wisdom in order to realise her vision of a safe future for wild orangutans and their forest home.
Over two decades later, we continue to work at the cutting edge of orangutan conservation, using innovative approaches and collaborating with incredible partners to build resilience for orangutans, forests and people.
