These remarkable creatures depend on large, connected forest habitats to find food, and raise their young, and ultimately – to survive. But right now, their future hangs in the balance.
Sumatra’s fragmented forests are a real challenge for wild orangutans. It’s not just the extent of habitat loss that’s alarming – it’s how this loss creates isolated forest patches that orangutans cannot travel between.
Last year, amazing supporters like you helped us raise over £20,000 for rewilding efforts. That work is already underway with our new partner in Tenggulun. Now, we need your help to ensure these rewilded areas don’t remain isolated islands but form part of a connected network of protected forest.
With your doubled donation, we can protect the forest corridors that serve as crucial pathways between habitats, allowing orangutans to travel safely through the canopy where they belong.
By donating today, you will support vital work to protect, connect and rewild the rainforest habitats that wild orangutans and so many other species rely on.
Thank you for ensuring Sumatra’s orangutans can continue to swing through connected forest canopies for generations to come.
P.S. Remember, this special doubling opportunity ends at 12 noon on 29th April—or when we hit our target of £20,000. Don’t miss this chance to double your impact for orangutans!
